Product Description
CKAS-FLDC800 series plug-in electromagnetic flowmeter is a new type of fluid flowmeter developed on the basis of pipeline electromagnetic flowmeter.Aiming at the defects of difficult and expensive installation of pipeline electromagnetic flowmeters on large pipelines, the technology of opening under pressure and installation under pressure is adopted. Plug-in electromagnetic flowmeters can be installed without stopping (water), or in Installed on cast iron pipes, cement pipes, and PE pipes, it provides a new method for fluid flow detection.
Features
Plug-in electromagnetic flowmeters have absolute advantages in installation and price in the detection of flow in large pipelines.
The converter adopts optimized design, compact structure, easy electrical installation, converter and sensor are interchangeable, and the measurement range (0.5m/s~10m/s) can be changed freely.
The converter and sensor have two protection levels and installation methods, and there is an IP68 level suitable for submersible installations.
It is suitable for flow detection of water, sewage, acid, strong alkali and other liquids with conductivity above 5us/cm, especially suitable for flow measurement of water supply and drainage pipelines.
Wide versatility and strong interchangeability, the flow measurement is only related to the insertion depth, so one model can be applied to the fluid measurement requirements of various specifications of pipelines.
Measuring principle
Fundamental
Electromagnetic flowmeters are designed to measure electrolyte fluids, and the measurement principle is based on Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction.According to this law, when any conductor moves through a magnetic field to cut the magnetic force line, an induced electromotive force will be generated:
For the insertion type electromagnetic flowmeter, the conductive liquid in the pipeline is the conductor moving in the magnetic field, and the distance between the two electrodes is the length L of the conductor. Therefore, when the magnetic field strength B is constant, the induced electromotive force is proportional to the speed of motion.
Technical Parameters
Structure and Dimensions
Note: There are differences between the appearance and size of the electromagnetic flowmeter and the actual product, and the actual product shall prevail.
Sensor installation
The sensor is mainly composed of a detection probe, a mounting flange and a junction box (split installation). The shape of the sensor is a cylinder, and the excitation coil for exciting the electromagnetic field, the magnetic core and two electrodes in contact with the fluid are installed in the column cavity. The installation method of the sensor is divided into two types: the installation of the broken flow (without water) and the installation with pressure.
Selection of sensor installation location
The sensor can be installed anywhere on the pipeline to be measured, and the pipeline must be completely filled with medium. The sensor can be installed on horizontally inclined or vertical pipelines. There must be at least 20D straight pipe section before the sensor, and at least 10D straight pipe section after the sensor. This avoids eddy currents and improves measurement accuracy.
sensor ground
The flow signal picked up by the detection electrode of the electromagnetic flowmeter is at the pv level, so external interference has a great influence on it.Therefore, a good grounding effect largely determines the measurement accuracy of the flowmeter. The measured fluid itself is an electrolyte conductor, and other irrelevant electromagnetic interference must be excluded.
Usually the flowmeter is installed on a metal pipe, and the pipe must be connected to the PE connector of the sensor (it has been connected before leaving the factory), and the PE connector should be connected to a good ground wire.
