Application of Liquid Ultrasonic Flowmeter in CNOOC Custody Transfer
CNOOC Lvda 32-2/27-2 oilfield project firstly applied liquid ultrasonic flowmeter as a custody transfer application.The oil field is equipped with two sets of Daniel liquid ultrasonic flowmeters of Emerson Company of the United States on its Lvda 32-2PSP platform, using an 18in piston type volumetric tube (volume value about 120L) and a turbine flowmeter as standard meters.Apply the method proposed in this paper to get the new flowmeter coefficient after calibration.After the outbound operation, a good consistency was obtained by comparing the data of the flowmeter and the oil tank, and the deviation between the two was less than 0.02%.At present, the project has been put into use for more than two years, and has been affirmed and praised by customers.
Subsequently, the CNOOC Iraq project adopted three sets of DN150 liquid ultrasonic flowmeters, also equipped with 18in piston volume tubes and a turbine flowmeter as the standard meter, and has provided trade measurement services for CNOOC and Iraqi oilfields.
In addition, the spherical volumetric tube method of liquid ultrasonic flowmeter is applied to the external measurement of LF7-2 crude oil on the cooperation platform of CNOOC-Xintian Oil.
For the CNOOC FPSO in the past five years, the Enping Oilfield Group 24-2 ship has been confirmed as the external measurement solution of the liquid ultrasonic flowmeter (three-purpose and one backup DN250) spherical volumetric tube (30-inch dual-phase spherical volumetric tube).
