Turbine flowmeter is a precision flow measuring instrument with multiple signal output modes, good repeatability and high measurement accuracy. It is widely used for tap water, pure water and other gases.

The main common faults of turbine flowmeters are:

1. The stop valve is not closed tightly, and there is leakage:

Check front valve status, *closed, no flow through.

2. Poor shielding and grounding of the signal line:

*Good grounding.*Ground wire, or the metal casing of the equipment.

3. There are motors, inverters and other high-power equipment running nearby:

Turbine flowmeters should be installed away from high-power equipment and avoid strong magnetic and electric field environments.Strong magnetoelectric signals can cause spurious signals in the flowmeter.

What is the reason why the signal output or flow display value is very unstable after the turbine flowmeter is installed normally?

1. Unstable power supply:

For turbine flowmeters that require external power supply, the quality of the power supply should be guaranteed, and the instrument power supply should be separated from the high-power equipment power supply. The flowmeter should be powered through an isolation transformer if necessary.Or supply power to the switching power supply after passing through the isolation transformer, and then supply power to the flowmeter.

2. The transmission signal line is mixed with strong electricity:

The signal transmitted by the turbine flowmeter flowmeter is a weak signal, try not to mix it with 380V, 220V and other strong electric cables for laying, otherwise it may introduce interference.

3. The field equipment is not well grounded:

4. The pipeline has strong vibration:

Field equipment pipelines should be well grounded and not live.Otherwise, it will interfere with the operation of the flowmeter.

Strengthen the pipeline and isolate the source of the earthquake.

5. Serious shortage of front and rear straight pipe sections:

At least *, 5D in the front and 2D straight pipe in the back, otherwise it will cause large fluctuations in the flow display.
