In 2021, the import and export situation of the instrumentation industry has properly met our expectations. The import growth rate was 11.36%, and the export growth rate was 15.05%. With the import base greater than the export base, the import and export deficit was basically maintained.However, in the first two months of 2022, the import and export situation of the instrumentation industry reversed, with the import growth rate reaching 15.19%, while the export showed a weak trend, with a growth rate of only 7.51%.If this trend continues, the import and export deficit will continue to expand this year.

The small industries that have reversed include experimental analysis instruments, optical instruments, electronic measuring instruments, and testing machines, which are dominated by imports.Especially for the small industry of experimental analysis instruments, the import growth rate was 9.86%, *3.04 percentage points; the small industry of optical instruments, the import growth rate was as high as 35.52%, *19.8 percentage points; the small industry of electronic measuring instruments, the import growth rate was 16.75%, *4.82% percent.

Typical products with high import growth rate and high import value include: the import of electron microscopes is about 250 million US dollars, a year-on-year increase of more than 180%.
